Ethiopia Natural Sidamo Durato Bombe Kontama GR1 - $18.00/12 oz
$18.00 USD
A fruit-forward natural Ethiopian from the highlands of Sidama.
Grown at 2,050 meters by 626 smallholder farmers in the village of Durato Bombe — named for the Bombe mountain it sits on — and processed at the Kontama mill, where whole cherries are sun-dried on raised beds for 10–15 days. That slow natural process is what gives this coffee its big, juicy fruit character.
In the cup: berries, kiwi, and pineapple — sweet, floral, and fruity, with high sweetness and a syrupy, above-average body. A lively, complex medium-light roast that shines as pour-over or drip.
Details: Grade 1 • Natural process, raised beds • Heirloom varietals 74-110 & 74-112 • 2,050 masl • Daye Bensa Coffee, Sidama Zone
